Cine_Room

20.10.19

This year, the Blueproject Foundation marks its participation in Barcelona Dibuixa with the activities commemorating its sixth anniversary. The event will take place in the Sala Project on 20 October from 11 am to 7 pm, with a workshop developed by Altura Projects and led by Alejandro Marote, Ángela Losa and Álvaro Marote.

Cine_Room is a film workshop that allows children to become the protagonists of their own film. The activity begins with the development of the structure of a film to then use recycled materials to create the necessary sets and characters for the representation of their story. To bring their script to life, children will stage all the material they create on an analogue overhead projector that will transform the wall of the space into a large film screen.

Alejandro Marote (Madrid, 1978) is a member of the Altura Projects studio and his photography projects have been exhibited in various spaces and festivals, such as CentroCentro Madrid, PhotoEspaña and The Rencontres d'Arles. Ángela Losa (Donostia, 1987) has a degree in Fine Arts, with a Master in Artistic Photography from IED Madrid. She also studied and worked at the Blank Paper photography school, and has exhibited her work at various photography fairs and festivals. Álvaro Marote (Madrid, 1978) studied Industrial Design at IED Madrid. He is a member of the Altura Projects studio and is currently dedicated to the design of geodesic structures.
